Steering committee

The Steering Committee of the Department of Excellence is composed of eight members: the Director of the DF, the former Director, the Administrative Secretary of the DF and a representative for each of the four research lines and for the high-level training activities.

The currently active members are Giuseppe Della Ricca, Giovanni Comelli, Noemi Gussetti, Angelo Bassi, Stefano Borgani, Paolo Camerini, Daniele Coslovich and Maria Peressi.

The Committee has the task of monitoring the project activities, promptly addressing any critical issues and reporting to the Department Council on the pursuit of specific and strategic objectives, the progress of the activity and individual initiatives.

In this regard, during the meetings of the Department Council, an item on the agenda is permanently reserved for the discussion of the progress of the project and for making decisions necessary to resolve risks and critical issues, as well as to ensure the best use of human and financial resources.
