Mrinal K. Sen is a professor of Geophysics and holder of Morgan Davis Centennial chair in Petroleum Geology at the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences and the Institute for Geophysics at the University of Texas at Austin. 

This is the only stop in Italy of the 2024–2025 Distinguished Instructor Short Course (DISC) of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG).

The Master's Degree in Geophysics and Geodata has agreed with the SEG on a free registration for our students: in particular, Master's and PhD students are invited to participate.
