We announce that the second school on quantum foundations dedicated to Prof. GianCarlo Ghirardi:

Fundamental Problems in Quantum Physics 2022
on September 28-30, 2022, Trieste, Italy

 

Prof. GianCarlo Ghirardi (1935-2018) was a leading figure in the foundations of quantum mechanics and among the first proponents of the so-called “Collapse Models”, introduced to solve the measurement problem.  The school, in his memory, will address some of the most relevant topics in the foundations of quantum mechanics. Lectures will be given by leading experts in their fields, and will cover topics such as Collapse Models, Bohmian Mechanics, macroscopic superposition, Quantum Information, and experiments to test Quantum Mechanics.
