The seminar will be devoted to a general overview of project funding opportunities in the European, national and regional context. The presentation will aim at providing useful know how for the career development with special (though not exclusive) reference to early stage scientists (Ricercatori TD B/A, Assegnisti di ricerca, PhD students). Some cultural aspects, together with related practical tips, will be addressed as well since they represent a "conditio sine qua non" for drafting successful proposals. This includes:

• the understanding of the expectations by the decision makers;
• the development of a multidisciplinary and team-work oriented attitude.

The seminar will have a duration of two hours. Due to the broadness of the subject, it will be impossible to cover all relevant details. It is therefore envisaged that the presentation will be followed by tailored deepening meetings, on demand, on a one-to-one basis.
