Title: Recent results on tau lepton from Belle
Tau-lepton dynamics is much less explored than quark dynamics and thus offers among the most promising probes for indirect searches for non- Standard-Model physics. Currently, the largest samples of tau-lepton decays have been collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB electron-positron collider at KEK, Japan. After a brief overview of the Belle tau-lepton program, I focus on the recent measurement of the τ- → "- l+ l- ν branching fraction. Finally, I discuss tau-lepton opportunities at Belle II.
