Breaking translation symmetry gives rise to ordinary crystals. Among all possible complex situations that were considered and experimentally verified so far, breaking the time-translation symmetry was never considered till recently. This was the focus of the pioneering work of Wilczek, who introduced time crystals. This phenomenon was recently observed in artificial systems. I will give an overview of the field and its most intriguing aspects.
