Seminar @ DF-AS - R. Durrer - Large scale structure of the Universe: the angular power spectrum and bispectrum
Event typology:
home
Campus:
Trieste
In the measured angular and redshift distribution of galaxies we see not only the density fluctuations of the matter distribution but also effects from peculiar velocities, from lensing and other relativistic effects. I shall discuss how these enter the power spectrum of the galaxy distribution in linear perturbation theory and the bispectrum in second order perturbation theory.
I shall also discuss possible observational strategies which may help to measure some of the interesting relativistic contributions.
