"Gamma-Ray Bursts and Beyond: Highlights from the Fermi-GBM Mission"
Elisabetta Bissaldi
Politecnico and INFN Bari

Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are among the most energetic transient phenomena in the Universe and a primary target of high-energy time-domain astrophysics. Since 2008, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) has continuously surveyed the gamma-ray sky, detecting thousands of GRBs as well as magnetar flares, terrestrial gamma-ray flashes, solar flares, and other high-energy transients. In this talk, I will highlight key results from the Fermi-GBM mission, with particular focus on the ongoing production of the second GRB time-resolved spectral catalog based on 16 years of observations, aimed at providing a homogeneous characterization of spectral evolution across the full GBM sample.
